It all Started with the joining of a saddle maker’s son and an aspiring stable owner/trainer/consultant and a mother of one .
Between the two of us we grew our love for one another and The equestrian dream! We were standing our own stallion, and housed over 25 horses plus we were expecting our first child together.
Eric made sure we were fully stocked with all tack and equipment necessary to keep the horses dressed with gear.
He ran an at home saddle shop, Bluemel Leathergoods which was passed down to him from a long 5 generation family business of Bluemel Saddlery. Michele was working as the trainer/stable manager/horse nutritionists.

Our family now includes Eric, Michele, Anthony 24, Katelyn 18, and our youngest Jordan 13.

In 2005 The Bluemel family decided to move to the Bastrop County area. And been here ever since! We love the Hill Country and the loblolly pine trees of Bastrop.
We since have purchased a new Stallion, Captain Midnight.
His presence and beauty has taken our hearts! We stand him to a limited amount of bookings every Year.
We conduct our horse business with the same down home, next door neighbor type outlook. We would like our clients to feel like family, and continue to do business with us from now on.

Our goal is is produce outstanding black and white horses for a multitude of disciplines for the area and show circuit. Captain has proven he produces tall heavy boned foals that have the structure to handle many different tasks they are meant to do along with sound feet and minds are a goal we are proud to produce as well! The foundation breeding Captain Midnight contains in his pedigree is all the characteristics we all love and need  in a good solid using horse. This breeding is rare and hard to come by these days.

Don’t let Captain’s age fool you, he is in perfect physical condition and health and has a 100% conception rate to-date!
